The most common linen question we get: 90 × 132 fits what size table? Answer: a 6-foot rectangular banquet table, floor length. Here is the full chart we use when we style a yard.
Rectangular tables
- 6 ft table, floor length: 90 × 132 in.
- 6 ft table, lap length: 60 × 102 in.
- 8 ft table, floor length: 90 × 156 in.
- 8 ft table, lap length: 60 × 126 in.
Round tables
- 48-inch round: 108-inch round to the floor.
- 60-inch round: 120-inch round to the floor (the standard for weddings and quinceañeras).
- 72-inch round: 132-inch round.
Cocktail and specialty
30-inch cocktail tables take a 120-inch round cloth or a fitted spandex cover. Serpentine tables need shaped linens — ask us, we stock them.
Floor length or lap length?
Floor length for weddings, quinceañeras and anything photographed. Lap length is fine for kids parties, buffet and drink stations where guests stand.
Planning colors
Pick the linen last, after the draping and balloon palette. In photos, ivory and sage read softer under a white tent than pure white, which can blow out in midday sun.
Renting only linens? That works — tell us your table sizes and we deliver pressed linens with your order.
