Once your list passes 100 people, a large tent rental stops being decoration and becomes the structure your whole event depends on. Here is how we size them in real North Georgia yards.
Guest count to tent size
- 20 × 20: 40 seated at rounds, or 60 standing.
- 20 × 30: 60 seated, 90 standing.
- 20 × 40: 80 seated, 120 standing — our most requested.
- Multiple 20 × 40 frames: 160–300 guests, joined or split between dining, dance floor and buffet.
Do not forget the extras inside
Dance floor, DJ or sound table, buffet or taquiza line, cake table and bar each eat 100–200 sq ft. Add them before you pick the size, not after.
Sidewalls, fans and lighting
Clear or white sidewalls for wind and evening chill, high-velocity fans for July and August, string lighting or par lighting once the sun drops. Frame tents need no center pole, so the floor plan stays open.
Anchoring and surface
Grass gets staked. Concrete and asphalt get weighted with ballast — we bring it. We need clear overhead space and will not install under power lines or low limbs.
Install timing
Large frames install the day before for weddings and quinceañeras so styling, draping and rehearsal happen without pressure. Removal is the day after.
Book your date: our calendar shows what is still open — large tents book out first for October and May weekends.
